Kiritosu comes from the Japanese words kiri (“to cut, to slice”) and tosu (“to open a path, to lead through”). It is an intention, a gesture, a breath one that pierces through opacity, carves a breach in the visible, and reveals what was yet unseen.

Coddess Variations

The first production by Kiritosu Studio, Coddess Variations, is an ambitious art film directed by Hervé Martin-Delpierre, accompanied by a digital art collection created by Hermine Bourdin during a residency at the Opéra national de Paris. The film premiered at ETHBerlin as part of a large-scale open-air screening and immersive installation — an experimental fusion of contemporary dance, visual storytelling, and blockchain technology.
